Najväčší slovenský festival mladých kapiel je za dverami a už tradične šiesty krát po sebe ovládne Banskú Bystricu. Dozvedieť sa o hudbe, ktorá sa nehrá v rádiách nie je jednoduché. Preto sme sa to rozhodli zmeniť. Niečo vyše 50 viac či menej alternatívno undergroundových kapiel si zahrá na jednej ulici, kde uvidíte naozaj zvláštny, ale už ako hovorí názov festivalu Yní "Alternative" mix. Od alternatívnej hudby cez pop, francúzske šanzóny, drum and bass, elektroniku, rock, punk, hardcore až po metal. Nikdy predtým ste nevideli skaterov a bikerov a pri nich sa vlniace brušné tanečnice? Tak nech sa páči namierte si to na Hornú ulicu do Banskej Bystrice.
"Ak zháňaš basáka, tu ho nájdeš. Potrebuješ bubeníka? Nájdeš ho tu. Aj fotografa, herca… Tu sa to hemží mladými umelcami. Ak predávaš gitaru, aj kupca tu nájdeš. Je to vynikajúce miesto na sformovanie super priateľstiev a naviazanie užitočných kontaktov medzi kapelami z rôznych koncov Slovenska, ktoré si neskôr pomáhajú s koncertmi, pokiaľ nie je kapela v agentúre." The largest Slovak festival of young bands is as always it's going to rock Banska Bystrica for the sixth time. Getting to know the kind of music which is not played on the radio is difficult. So we decided to change it. More than 50 most likely alternative bands are going to throw a gig on a street, where you will be able to see a strange, but as the name of the festival suggests DYFFERENT mixture of music genres. Alternative music, pop, French chansons, drum and bass, electronic, rock, punk, hardcore, metal music. Have you ever seen skaters and bikers along with belly dancers dancing near them? So here you are, aim it right to Banska Bystrica.
"If you're looking for a bassist, you will find him here. You need a drummer? Here you go. Even a photographer or an actor... It's crowded with young artists in here. If you're selling a guitar, you'll have your buyer here. It's a great place for making a neat friendships among bands from different parts of Slovakia, which always help each other with gigs, unless they are under agency."
